Through the steam methane reforming process, Hyundai Rotem is capable of producing as much as 640kg of high-purity (99.995%) hydrogen or more per day from natural gas or biogas. This is high-quality, optimized hydrogen production unit that provides high-purity hydrogen in a modularized type and takes into account the minimization of equipment size and ease of transportation, packaging, and installation by integrating a compression, reformation and refining in one package.

The system meets the supply specifications required for various FCEVs and refuels the required amount of hydrogen through a hydrogen compression and cooling process. It is divided into on-site and off-site types based on the hydrogen-supplying system and into stationary and mobile types based on the operation plan.

These are essential facilities in the hydrogen supply and distribution process that load hydrogen supplied from hydrogen production facilities into hydrogen tube trailers (a special dedicated vehicle), and supply it to hydrogen refueling stations. Called hydrogen distribution hubs, they are equipped with large-scale hydrogen production facilities and supply facilities.
